Auditing a Course (including information from Part 3-305 of Student Code ): Students taking a full-time schedule of courses (12 or more semester hours) may audit (visit) a class with the written permission of the instructor and approval of College Advisor/Dean in the Undergraduate Programs Office. No credit will be given for audited classes.

Auditing a course means that you receive no academic credit for it, and you are not responsible for tests or homework.
First year J.D. students are not permitted to audit classes during their 1L year. Students are not permitted to audit more than one Law class per quarter. Students may not audit a class that has a time conflict with a class in which they are also enrolled. Courses taught in the first year curriculum may not be audited.

To respect class capacity, Minneapolis College will not allow an additional student to enroll in this same seat. i think there is nothing stop you from doing that but maybe some employers they will ask for a certificate otherwise you can list the course you audited and all the skills you gain from this courses you can list it in your resume just be aware you will not be able in audited courses to submit assignments and quizzes.
