How long is Truman University?

The University academic year is divided into fall and spring semesters, a summer session, and December, May, and August Interims. The summer session classes are generally five or eight weeks in length. Interim session offerings are three weeks or less in length. Admission to Truman may be effected at the beginning of any semester or term.

Non-degree seeking students are just that: students who are not seeking a degree. Even though they don’t wish to complete an entire degree program, these students apply for admission with a non-degree seeking status so that they can take a course or two per semester from Truman.

How to search for all subjects in a course?

To search all subjects, click on Accounting, then press shift+control+end. To use the open course list, you must select at least one subject. When your selection is complete, click Class Search to perform the search.

How to access course list in TruView?

To access the current course list, either view the Current Course List page, or log on to TruView, select the Student tab, then “Search Current Course List” under Registration. Select the semester you wish to view, and then follow the directions on the screen.

How to search for classes in one or more subjects?

Select one or more subjects, then select End Time Hour as “03” and select “p.m.” Click on Class Search to perform the search.

How to search for general honors?

Searching by Attribute Type. You may want to find all General Honors courses that are being offered. Select one or more subjects and then select “General Honors” in the Attribute Type field. Click on Class Search to perform the search.

How to search for a second block course?

Searching by Part of Term (Block Courses) You may want to find all courses that are offered as second block courses. Select one or more subjects, then select “Second Half Term” in the Part of Term field. Click on Class Search to perform the search.
