Course Loads Generally, full-time graduate students enroll for 9 to 12 credit hours per semester, with normal maximum enrollment being 15 credits per semester and 9 hours summer.

This program is available 100% online, or in-person at the UVM campus. Students can also opt to take this program via hybrid, a mix of in-person and online courses. As a gap year student, you can choose from hundreds of courses on campus or online to build your college-level GPA or complete admissions requirements.
Graduate students may repeat a course for credit only when failed and only once. In all other cases, students who repeat a course only receive credit once for the course. The credit hours for a repeated course do count for enrollment status purposes for the semester in which the student retakes the course.
