Carenado's Documents

Carenado provides ten reference, explanatory, and instructional documents to assist with simulating flight in its C90B King Air. Each electronic instrument is explained in a dedicated manual with ample images and clear annotations. Four manuals provide reference data and operational checklists. One manual provides copyright information.

The C90B's Performance

For my test flights, I used Beech Factory Airport near Wichita, Kansas, U.S.A. Elevation is 1,409 feet (430 meters), and its only runway is 8,000 feet (2,438 meters). As always, I used the aircraft's default weight. At 9,557 pounds (4,335 kilograms), it is slightly less than the rated maximum gross take-off weight.

The C90B's Sounds

The Sounds folder contains 68 WAV files for all flight phases. Carenado's product description says they are recorded from a real-world King Air. Although I have never heard a real-world C90B King Air, Carenado's sounds seem accurate for a turboprop aircraft of this size, and I have no reason to doubt they are recorded from real King Air aircraft.
