In order to manage course templates, an admin must have the Manage Course Templates permission enabled. This is a granular permission that is divided into individual permissions for creating, deleting, and editing templates.
The current theme includes a green bar and check mark icon below the name of the theme. If an account includes multiple saved themes, the active theme is ordered first. To apply a different theme, open and apply any other saved theme or create a new theme for the account.
Custom branding is hosted at the account level, and by default, sub-accounts and their associated courses inherit account branding. However, you can choose to allow sub-accounts to use the Theme Editor to create their own custom themes.

Enrollments may be added by your institution's student information system (SIS). If an enrollment includes an SIS ID, you cannot add an enrollment to the course. Adding users through the Add People button is a course permission. If you cannot add a user to your course, your institution has restricted this feature.
If Canvas finds an existing user , you can confirm the user before adding the user to the course [1]. The user's name displays in the page along with the user's information you used in the user search. Although Canvas may display additional search columns, existing information in a user's account will not be displayed.
