Because the cell phone’s screen is small and its blue light is strong, and also because the finger icon is too thick on the map, it’s easy to tap the wrong location. The last field “HeatMap” is a function that I find pretty cool. It can display the most common exercise courses of the users on Garmin Connect , and the popularity of the courses is reflected on the thickness of the lines. This lets us know whether our planned course is located on the popular routes. You might even meet fellow runners along the way!
If you need to personally decide the starting point and each of the destinations that the course passes by, then you can choose “Custom,” directly marking the starting point and each destination to pass by along the way. You can choose the nature of this course in the beginning.
To edit a course in the Garmin Connect app. Open the Garmin Connect app. Access the Menu. Android: select (upper left) iOS: Select More (lower right) Select Training. Select Courses. Select the course you would like to edit. Tap (upper right corner) then tap Edit.
When naming courses, keep in mind that most devices have a limit where they only look at the first 15 characters in the name of a course. If there are multiple courses where the first 15 characters are the same, the device will think they are the same course.
