A course site isn't visible to students until the instructor manually publishes the Canvas site. If the semester/term has already started and you are definitely registered for the course, contact your instructor and ask them to publish the course. You may have previously set your Courses List to show other courses.
20If you have never favorited any courses, only 20 (max) course cards will show on your dashboard (this limit is 10 within the mobile app). If you are then enrolled in new courses, this will remove some of the current courses from your dashboard, so there are never more than 20 at one time.
Thanks to a new Canvas feature, you can simply drag and drop course cards anywhere on the Dashboard to reorder them. This is an easy and convenient way to keep your courses organized if you have many courses in Canvas.

When a course's events and assignments are hidden the color display in gray. Click again to display the events again. Each student also has a personal calendar as well. The colors associated with a course can be changed by clicking the three dots next to the course title.
Removing a course from the Dashboard simply removes it from that view, it will not remove it from the all courses page.
Unfortunately, we don’t delete courses from Canvas. We recommend unpublishing the course or simply following the directions above to remove it from your Dashboard.
You can also send messages to the user via Conversations. If necessary, you may be able to edit a user's role in Canvas. Note: It could take up to 24 hours for users to receive their invitations.
Trust accounts allow users to be added with the same credentials across multiple institutions. Users are not sent a course invitation until the course start date. (The start date is commonly the term date, unless the term is being overridden by a specific course or section date in Course Settings.)
Enrollments may be added by your institution's student information system (SIS). If an enrollment includes an SIS ID, you cannot add an enrollment to the course. The user's name displays in the page along with the user's information you used in the user search. Although Canvas may display additional search columns, existing information in a user's account will not be displayed.
