I fly out of a certain 141 flight school in northeastern Ohio. Getting your privates consist of three different stage checks with the 1st being after your first solo, the 2nd being after you knock out a few cross countries, and the 3rd is where you finally get issued your certificate.

I just bothered to take the time to pull up the right wording to answer somebody's question about a helicopter pilot soloing while working on an SEL rating. Pulled up the AC, neatly copy/pasted everything with formatting. And then it was deleted.
