Typically, Army nurses will deploy to combat zones. However, they will very rarely venture 'outside the wire', and are traditionally far away from seeing any real combat.
The 68C MOS is the second largest in the CMF and the 3rd largest in the Army. It's a challenging MOS, program wise. In my opinion one of the most rewarding.

yes, it is possible. i was a navy corpsman before i went to LPN school. there were LPN's that still had to go through the medic school (about 4 months) but with you being an LPN it will be a breeze.Dec 17, 2005
