The Mature Driver Improvement Certificate you receive after completing the AARP Smart Driver Course is good for a period of three (3) years from the date you completed the course.
A course completion certificate is valid for two to three years, depending on your state's regulations (check with your auto insurance agent for details regarding your discount).
