No more shall early agility training be dominated by watchtower shortcuts and the barbarian outpost course. The new Anachronia agility course has completely busted agility XP rates that start out absolutely insane at level 30, and only get slightly less insane as your access to other agility training methods increase.
Here's where it gets crazy: At the end of each section, regardless of the level of agility required, it awards you 520 XP. And you get this each way. At level 30.
The Agility course is started at either the northern or south-western end of the base camp and can be completed in either a clockwise or counter-clockwise direction. Obstacles include traversing temple walls and cliff faces, crossing over vines, climbing over roots, and jumping across trees. Each obstacle provides 20 Agility experience.
Each lap at the Anachronia Agility Course gives a guaranteed 10 codex pages. An additional 1-3 codex pages can be randomly received when completing any obstacle (does not work when repeatedly doing the same obstacle).
The Seers' Village Agility Course offers 46,600 experience per hour at best. The normal experience rate including failures is about 42,000-44,000 experience per hour.

A perfect lap takes exactly 45 seconds, meaning that at maximum efficiency, the maximum amount of experience gained is 45,600 per hour.

Agility training involves a lot of point-clicking and it can take a lot of focus to maximise experience gain. Higher Agility level increases one's ability to regenerate run energy and grants access to various shortcuts. Players should always run and use stamina potions if necessary in order to maximise experience rates.
The drop rate of marks on any rooftop course will significantly decrease (by 80% ) when you reach 20 Agility levels higher than the requirement of that rooftop course. Any boost to the drop rate, such as the reward for completion of the Hard Kandarin Diary, is applied after the 80% reduction.
The Werewolf Agility Course offers the second fastest experience from level 60 to 99 . This method is only recommended for accounts that cannot access Darkmeyer, as this method is relatively high-effort and offers worse rates than the Hallowed Sepulchre. While this course can offer slightly faster experience than the Seers' Village Rooftop Course up to level 72, the Seers' course is much easier and most players are likely to gain faster experience there.
One lap of the Falador Rooftop Course takes roughly one minute , and has a maximum hourly experience rate approximately 26.4k xp/hour, whereas the average rate of xp would lie between 20.5k - 22k xp/hour, depending on agility levels, as higher agility means failing obstacles less.
The Hallowed Sepulchre offers the fastest experience from level 52 onwards. This method is a lot harder compared to other training methods, and it requires good concentration and timing. The activity becomes highly profitable at level 92, as this allows players to loot the Grand Hallowed Coffin on the final floor, where the ring of endurance can be obtained.
Training on this course yields up to 13,200 experience per hour, each lap yielding 238 experience. It will take 99 laps to get from level 30 to 40, including fails.
The Brimhaven Agility Arena is very different to other Agility courses. Instead of running laps around obstacle courses, the Brimhaven Agility Arena sets players the objective to tag ticket dispensers for Agility arena tickets. It can be found in the east of Brimhaven, run by Cap'n Izzy No-Beard, who will charge 200 coins for access.
There are several different methods for travelling to the Brimhaven Agility Arena. The best options, ordered from fast to slow, are:
Wear weight-reducing clothing to achieve a weight of 0 kg or lower. This results in a lower run energy depletion rate.
The experience per hour rate heavily depend on the player's Agility level. At level 99 expect to be able to achieve 67,000 Agility experience per hour.
When players dodge the darts in the darts obstacle, a cut scene appears in which the character dodges the darts in slow motion, a reference to the science fiction film The Matrix.
