My Barbri PSP says I have been assigned 29% of the items. I am generally keeping even or within a percentage or two of assigned. But, it says that other students have only completed 12%. Passed the NY bar exam last October. I remember in the last 3 weeks before the bar, I saw a TON of ads for last minute study aids. I remember feeling so much panic and stress, and I probably dropped an extra hundred bucks or so on canned outlines and other random shit that I didn’t need and that I just got to feel like I had a safety net.
My law school just sent out a “recommended bar study schedule” for the month of July. They want us doing 12 to 14 hours of studying every day until the exam and we’re “almost gUaRaNtEeD to pass!!” I sorry but the only thing I’m guaranteed with that schedule is a mental and physical breakdown. Smh.

For first time takers from an ABA law school, for those who do more than 80 percent of their bar prep course, it's like over 80 or 90 percent pass rate. You don't need to be able to recite exact definitions. Poor advice like above only end up filling people with dread.
The bar exam is incredibly stressful and you probably feel unprepared, but don't let that feeling cause you to buy too much prep material . I've seen people buying JD advising, adaptibar, Emmanuel's, and other material, all on top of the regular prep from Barbri/Themis/Kaplan. You only have so much time and it might be counter-productive to try and go through everything at once. That said, I think one or two additional tools can be useful and there are plenty of good sources. Make sure to eat and rest as best as you can and good luck.
