Phlebotomy technicians can be expected to work as part of a team in a clinical laboratory setting. This course includes 10 credit hours of training that involve CPR & First Aid, Anatomy & Physiology, Medical Terminology, Introduction to Laboratory & Communication, Phlebotomy and a 160 hour externship.
Students will also be required to complete a 120 hour clinical practicum. The clinical practicum is generally three weeks long and includes 8 hour days, Monday through Friday. The tuition of this program is $540.
