10-12 hoursThe traditional Georgia hunter safety classroom course lasts a minimum of 10-12 hours and is usually given over the span of a weekend or several weeknights.
According to Georgia law, all hunters born on or after January 1, 1961, must complete hunter education certification in order to hunt in Georgia.
Hunters Age 12–15 Must complete a hunter education course prior to hunting unless under direct supervision of a licensed adult hunter. It is unlawful for an adult to permit their child or ward (12–15) to hunt without adult supervision unless the child possesses a hunter education certificate while hunting.
Hunting Licenses: $100 annual | $20 for one-day & $6 for additional days. Nonresidents 16 and up may purchase a hunting license. This license covers basic hunting privileges. Completion of a qualifying hunter education course is required for Hunting Licenses of annual or longer duration.
two to four quartsDrink Water to Prevent Dehydration Even in cool weather, you need two to four quarts of water a day. Under most conditions, people can last only about three days without water. Most hunters usually carry a water bottle or canteen. Don't panic because panicking tends to make you thirstier.
Resident Hunting, Combo or Sportsman's License is required for all resident hunters 16 years of age or older, except when hunting or fishing on one's own land or land owned by immediate family (blood or dependent relationship) residing in the same household.
Hunter Orange Requirements A hunter, and anyone accompanying the hunter, must wear as an outer garment at least 500 square inches of daylight fluorescent orange above the waist (which may include a head covering) when hunting: deer during the primitive weapons or firearms deer season.

What researchers have found is that deer can see colors, though they don't experience them in the same way we do. They can pick out short (blue) and middle (green) wavelength colors, but they're less sensitive to long wavelength colors such as red and orange.
After years of having to physically tag their deer in the field, it was no longer required.
Humans can go for two weeks or more without food. Although the need for food is not that urgent, you'll be more comfortable and clear-headed if you eat. Anywhere there is game, there is food, but probably not what you're accustomed to eating.
