This course covers the OSH Act, Executive Order 12196, and the OSHA General Industry Standards. This course is intended for federal agency collateral duty safety and health personnel. With use of the OSHA General Industry Standards, special emphasis is placed on areas in general industry which are most hazardous.
For example, the OSHA 10 course aims to train students on new safety topics rather than assess their current knowledge and skills. Graduates of the course earn a certificate and DOL card when they pass an exam on key learning objectives.
OSHA #500 Trainers Course in OSHA Standards for the Construction Industry. Authorized Outreach Training Program trainers are required to attend this course once every four years (4) to maintain their trainer status.
