I'm a member of the Elks (semi-private) that has an annual members due of $195 and then the golf (unlimited) is $1450. Last year I put in almost 125 rounds which only comes out to $13.16 per round. Pretty cheap if you ask me. There are other courses around (Apple Tree, etc) that I play also.
My local muni course has a season pass for unlimited golf for $425. I have bought this pass for the last two years. One of the local courses last fall ran a special for $380 for a two year pass unlimited golf, and a $198 pass for unlimited golf M-F for two years. Last I heard they had sold 1000 memberships with this special.
