Students who officially drop a course(s) prior to the published refund deadline of any semester receive a refund of 100% of tuition and course fees paid. Contact LLCC Registration for refund information about courses with irregular start dates. In the event a course is canceled, all paid tuition and fees will be refunded.
The result is the number of honor or grade points earned in this course. So, a grade of B in a given course carrying four credits would earn 3 x 4 or 12 grade points. A student’s GPA for a given semester or module is determined by dividing the total number of credits attempted into the total of grade points earned.
Religious courses of a sectarian nature are not evaluated for credit. For lower division (0-54 earned credits) nonresident undergraduate students, tuition is $9,648 total per semester for anywhere from 12 to 15 credits and $811 per credit for fewer than 12 credits and for each credit over 15.

A student may withdraw from any class by completing and filing with the college appropriate forms within the time requirements listed. No record of the enrollment shall appear on the student’s transcript if a student withdraws prior to the first day of classes or during the 100 percent refund period.

Tuition and fees are charged as follows: Students who register for 12 to 18 credits will be charged a block rate for tuition and fees. Students registering from 1 to 11.99 credits will be charged the per credit charge for tuition according to the chart below.
Students over the age of sixty years residing in the college-sponsor school districts are eligible for free tuition in a credit course on a space available basis as of the day the course begins. Senior citizen students will pay all course fees or costs such as laboratory fees and out-of-pocket course costs incurred and paid for by the college such as for third party services provided, including, but not limited to, truck driving certifications and courses offered by the Baum School of Art shall be paid for by the senior citizen student.
Students who withdraw from their class/es will have their tuition recalculated based upon liable credit hours, which are calculated according to when in the semester the withdrawal request process is completed. No refunds are made after 20% of the course has been completed. The date of official withdrawal is when the Office of Registration/Student Records has all the properly completed forms.
Lincoln Land Community College Library charges three types of fines: Overdue Fines, Lost Item Replacement Fines, and Lost Item Processing Fees. The costs of and circumstances when each of these fines are applied are outlined below.
Students will be placed on campus-wide restriction if they fail to return library materials within 30 days after the due date.
Fines may be paid in person at the LLCC Library's Circulation desk, located in Sangamon Hall. We accept cash, checks, and money orders.
