Apr 08, 2022 · Golf Resorts Captiva Island? Located on the 11th floor of the South Seas Island Resort, the Captiva Course features nineholes of short par-3 designed by Chip Powell. It has earned the reputation of being one of the most beautiful short courses around.
Really fun and course the provides a lot of great features in a small space. We played this course multiple times over the week staying on Captiva. It was a lot of fun with a great pro staff. Highly recommend this short fun course for a quick afternoon road or for a family golf outing.
The 9-hole "Captiva" course at the South Seas Island Resort facility in Captiva Island, Florida features 1,446 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 27. Designed by Chip Powell, the Captiva golf course opened in 1973. Ryan Berecz manages the course as the General Manager.
