I’m still in shock about what’s happening. I’m a software engineering Intern at a big tech company. It literally seems surreal with how amazing everything was. My team was amazing, the WLB was phenomenal (I took ~5 days off in total and never worked more than 45 hours a week), my teammates had nothing but great things to say.

Few months into my new grad SwE job in Defense and I am genuinely depressed. My job is fucking miserable. There is 0 remote opportunity, I work 10 hour days in office in a closed area which means I can’t even have my phone on me, and I’m doing work I am highly unmotivated in.

I'm currently in college and my college requires me to do 3 months of work related learning (Internship). So, I applied for various companies and got tons of rejections.
