Section 1701.3545 of the Texas Occupations Code requires each constable to complete at least 40 hours of New Constable Education at Bill Blackwood Law Enforcement Management Institute. Each complete 4 year Training Cycle after this, you must complete an additional 40 hours of Constable’s Continuing Education.
What happens if I need to repeat a course? Texas State allows students to take a class three times. When a course is taken more than once from Texas State, the second grade (first repeat) and all subsequent grades (repeats) are included in computing the Texas State hours attempted, grade points earned and GPA.
Course Repeat Fee: In order to compensate for this loss of state funding, students attempting a course for the third or more time will be charged a course repeat fee of $408 per semester credit hour for each repeated course.

Admission Review We strongly encourage anyone who is not offered freshman admission to attend another college, complete 30 hours of transferable credit with a minimum GPA of a 2.25, and apply for transfer admission.
Academic Probation Beginning freshmen may be allowed up to three semesters of academic experience before being suspended. Students who are in their third calendar year and later may be given additional semesters of probation rather than suspension if they show a reasonable chance of meeting graduation standards.
