Up for a challenge? Try the Fairways side. This course is a true miniaturized version of a traditional golf course with sand traps, bunkers and water hazards. Tad and I were happy to get par on most of the holes (but nothing all these years of mini-golf training couldn't handle). There's typically less of a wait for the Fairways side if you are up for it (though note that the Fairways course closes one hour prior to the Fantasia Gardens course).

Fantasia Gardens is located next to the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Hotels and close to Disney's BoardWalk and Disney's Hollywood Studios. Choose from either the Summer or Winter course. The Summer course embraces the Florida sun with sandcastles, melting snowmen and ornaments hanging from palm trees. The Winter course celebrates all things cold with igloos, hockey and an epic ice castle. Both sides are for all skill levels so it comes down to whichever season you're feeling. We often do the winter course on our December trips — we just can't help it. 'Tis the season!
Both mini-golf courses can be indirectly accessed by a Disney bus. Otherwise, we recommend driving or using ridesharing services such as Uber or Lyft.

Seeing that the only thing Winter Summerland lacked was a golf course, Santa and his elves divided into 2 camps, one that enjoyed the warm Florida sun and another that preferred the snow and cold of the North Pole. The elves then built 2 distinctly different 18-hole golf experiences: a sand course named "Summer" and a snow course named "Winter."
That’s because Santa Claus, himself, designed it! Late one Christmas Eve, as Santa was flying back to the North Pole, he discovered snow in Florida.
