Edgenuity contains over 300 courses, with each course requiring at least 80 hours to complete. That means, if you take one hour a day to take a course on Edgenuity, it will take you 80 days to finish a course. That is roughly three months – to finish a course on Edgenuity.

Best practice: Work on each of your courses for 1 hour per day. This means if you are taking 5 courses, you will work 5 hours per day. This is online time, not time spent working on projects offline. You can see that you are behind when you enter a course. The percentage of the course completed is calculated by dividing the number of activities completed by the total number of activities in the course. Your status is then figured based on where you should be in the course in order to complete all of the activities by your target date.
You can view a progress report by clicking on Organizer > Reports > Progress Reports.
This practice is not encouraged, but we will provide the flexibility for students to work on courses this way. Students will be required to work 5 hours of online time a day on one course and demonstrate acceptable progress toward the Target Date. Core courses in English language arts, mathematics, science, social studies, and world languages have been reviewed and approved by the NCAA as meeting its definition of a “core course.”. In addition, both Intro to Philosophy and World Religions have both been approved for use with Instructional Services only.

A student who wishes to recover credits must take the same course as students earning initial credit. Although you may offer credit- recovery versions of Edgenuity courses at your school , those courses are not NCAA-eligible.
Just want a summary of what you guys think the worst parts about Edgenuity are.
So last year I spent Edgenuity using brainly for the most part because I had P.E, Science, and English, English I knew would be easy on end of the year testing, P.E and Science I don't get tested on with end of the year, so I just used brainly for those too, leaving Math to just do on my own with my own brain power.
