Chardonnay Golf Club's greens are lightning fast and the course plays long. One of the most memorable holes, both for the scenery and level of difficulty is the par-3 eighth. This hole is framed by stunning views of the Valley and it requires some clever shotmaking skills.
Chardonnay is a beautiful course in a great setting. My last round on Friday took 5 hours 45 minutes. There is no way to attain and sustain rhythm with the 10-15 minute delays on each tee box. More marshalling would be a blessing. Sierra foothill golf team ahead of me.
