To complete a major requirement, a minimum of five (5) course-credits (20 semester hours) in the major department must be taken at Framingham State University. Students who wish to repeat courses in which they received a grade of C, C+, or B-, will not be permitted to enroll in the course until the first day of the semester, dependent upon seat availability. All grades, including those earned in repeated courses, will remain on the academic transcript.
A "W" grade does not affect your GPA. Please note that "W"s may affect future semesters with regard to financial aid eligibility or participation in NCAA sports. If I retake a class in which I received a “W” and earn a letter grade, will the “W” be removed? The "W" will not be removed.
