Each student is required to meet with an advisor prior to registration for the first time at Ivy Tech. The Capstone is an interdisciplinary experience that culminates the student's General Studies experience. In this course, learners apply all the knowledge, cognitive abilities, and communication skills they have gained from General Studies in designing and completing an original project or paper.
Failing Courses If the student fails the course again, he/she cannot be certified for a third time for the course. If this occurs, the repeated course will not be included in the student's total number of credit hours enrolled that is reported to the VA for that semester.

The format of the e-mail address is [email protected] . Students may access their Ivy Tech email by clicking on the “Gmail” link in MyIvy. Most email communication from the College to the student will be through the ivytech.edu email account, so students are expected to check this frequently. Once a student has graduated or left Ivy Tech, the email address and MyIvy account will remain active for six semesters (two years). After that time, the email and MyIvy accounts will be disabled.
