All Firearms Instructor's Certification expires after two years and must be renewed prior to expiration to maintain certification. Firearms Instructor Certification expires every two calendar years.

Even if you do not intend on carrying a firearm, don’t hold yourself back. Besides… you will need the LTC to purchase any handguns. Just get the license to carry. It costs the same as the FID card. AGES 15-20: You will be stuck with a FID card, but can upgrade to a License to Carry at age 21.

The only way to learn is by seeing, hearing and doing. You will learn: Safe handling of several different types of firearms, firearms storage laws, self-defense laws, transportation laws and much more. You will also receive safety materials and a CD in class.
Also, on the day of class if you are presumed to be impaired by anyway by Alcohol or Drugs (Marijuana included) you cannot participate in the course for obvious safety reasons. Thank you for your understanding!
Why pay for a Non-Live Fire Course somewhere else and only be able to apply in Massachusetts. If you take this course you’ll be able to apply in MA, CT, RI, and many more states for your license to carry a pistol. Things that will prevent you from getting your license to carry in Massachusetts: You’re a convicted felon. You have been convicted of any misdemeanor domestic violence charges. Being the subject of a restraining order in ANY state.
