You need to take the class after the points are on your license which is after you pay the fine for the ticket, but I would still wait a few days.

NO, wait. Go to court and reduce the ticket to 2 points and then take the course. The old prosecutor is now the Judge and is a great guy. I do not know the new prosecutror but I would guess reasonableness will continue.Depending on you circumstances, points on your license, CDL, Uber etc.

Yeah don't do it prior to sentencing, as if you have no points you can't go below zero. I always advise to wait at least a week before taking the class, as the points have to go through the computer system, etc.#N#You should also consider fighting the ticket.
