Courses start every Monday, year-round. You can register at anytime, and it takes up to 2 days to receive your sign in credentials. How long does each course last? semester lasts up to 18 weeks. During the summer term (May – July), the standard semester course duration is 9 weeks, but can be extended if needed.

The answer to that is very hard! Even though it was difficult, I stayed with it like I hope all of you do. It was worth it and I learned a whole lot more that in the other geometry classes.

This course covers concepts typically offered in a full-year honors geometry course. You'll explore geometric proofs, triangle relationships, transformations, right triangle trigonometry, circles, parallel/perpendicular lines, polygons, three-dimensional figures, and probability.
Honors Geometry is a class designed for students that excel in mathematics! This includes 8th graders, freshmen and sophomore students. The main differences between Geometry and Honors Geometry are pacing, teaching style, and extended work in all topics.
Students in grade 11 are expected to show clear understanding of core algebraic expressions, functions, and proficiency in collecting and analyzing data. During their junior year, most students take Algebra II, while others may take Geometry or even Pre-Calculus.
To satisfy the mathematics (“c”) subject area requirement for University of California, students applying for freshman admission must complete either one yearlong course in geometry or one yearlong course as part of an integrated mathematics sequence that includes sufficient geometry (e.g., Mathematics II).
AP classes and honors classes are both weighted at +0.5 on the GPA scale. Only students who took Honors Geometry as freshmen are eligible to take these AP Physics classes as juniors.
Geometry Honors - Expectations for Exit Exam The exam contains both multiple choice and constructed response items. Partial credit may be earned on some items. You must score 77% or more to pass the exam and be placed into Algebra 2 Honors for the following school year. Test scores are reported as pass/fail.
Topics of study include points, lines, and angles; triangles; right triangles; quadrilaterals and other polygons; circles; coordinate geometry; three-dimensional solids; geometric constructions; symmetry; the use of transformations; and non-Euclidean geometries.
Geometry is simpler than algebra 2. So if you want to look at these three courses in order of difficulty, it would be algebra 1, geometry, then algebra 2. Geometry does not use any math more complicated than the concepts learned in algebra 1.
