Acellus Academy is one of the best secular online school curricula available today. AA also has the added features of Intelligent Interaction which focuses on student’s weaknesses and targets these so students can improve their knowledge in these areas. The Academy also offers the option of accreditation, so if you’re a homeschool parent who wants their homeschool to be accredited, choose this curriculum over Power Homeschool. Many students seem to have tremendous amounts of fun with this curriculum and it doesn’t seem to bore them like some other programs. As such, secular homeschooling parents will find this curriculum a very good fit for their needs.
Power Homeschool is the non-accredited version of Acellus Academy. Power Homeschool still uses Intelligent Interaction and has many of the features that the Academy offers. But, because it’s not an online school, students can’t get homeschool accreditation.
Acellus Academy is accredited by the WASC ( Western Association of Schools and Colleges ), a regional accreditation agency . The WASC accredits K-12 schools as well as non-degree granting postsecondary institutions.

They can study the course at their own pace while still enjoying the homeschool environment. Acellus offers both Common Core-aligned and non-aligned courses.
My daughter, 6, hasn't complained about attending day camp until this morning. I can relate to her pain.
Hello, I have a 12 year old who is looking for a friend or two. We live out in the middle of no where, the closest little town is about 20 minutes out. I am home schooling all 4 kids but the age difference is quite drastic. The other 3 are all very close in age and my 12yo is older by 6 years.
I dropped out shortly after entering 9th grade due to many personal reasons, but needless to say that was a very stupid and irresponsible decision and I am facing the consequences now that I've got my head on straight. I'm 18 now with a 8-5 job M-F, I live in Arkansas if that matters.
History is exciting to me as a dad, but I haven't managed to teach much to my daughter.
