Dedicated Status – what does that mean ? According to the definitions in the Firearms Control Act (FCA - Act 60 of 2000) a dedicated hunter or sports-person is a person who is a member of an accredited association who passed the relevant training courses of the accredited association s/he belongs to.
A person carrying a firearm (including one licensed in terms of section 15 or 16) can legally carry such firearm in a loaded condition (“one-up”).
