Generally considered a moderately challenging route, it takes an average of 24 min to complete. This is a very popular area for birding, hiking, and trail running, so you'll likely encounter other people while exploring.
This hike is at a low elevation and can be hiked year-round. But hiking in the summer gives you the chance to bring your bathing suit to swim in the river or take a dip in the canyon pools just above Crystal Falls. Beautiful setting for an impressive water fall. Easy walk up from the parking lot to the fall, but the only entry is through the Toccoa College book store. Minimal charge to access the water fall.
There is a nominal admission fee to see the falls which is paid in the gift shop at the entrance of the falls. Adults are $1.00, children under 10 are 50¢, seniors 65 and older are 50¢, and groups of 10 or more are 50¢ each.
All ceremonies must entail Christian services, must be officiated by a minister whose Christian credentials are acceptable to Toccoa Falls College and must be performed in a manner which is in agreement with the College's spiritual position and missional values. The Falls cannot be closed to the public at any time.
From Downtown Vancouver, make your way to Granville Street and Hastings and take Bus 160 - Poco Stn Via Guildford Way Eastbound. The bus will drive along Hastings, through Burnaby, then the Barnet Highway, Port Moody, and finally, after an hour's ride, into Coquitlam.

While it is possible to take transit from Vancouver to the start of the trail to Crystal Falls, it is several buses and a long trip. If you're starting your trip from the Tri-Cities region, it's much easier.
