What is mindfulness?

Mindfulness is about paying attention to your present moment experience with a sense of curiosity and non-judgement. It encourages us to live in the moment instead of worrying about the future or the past.

How long is a mindfulness consultation?

Live in the moment. These brief, 30-minute consultations help you work on understanding and improving your mindfulness, being less stressed, and practicing less self-judgment. Online appointments are available.

How long is Koru?

Koru is a mindfulness program designed specifically for emerging adults and college students. The course is four weeks long and is offered for FREE to UF students. In these classes you learn various strategies to help you be more mindful. Classes meet one time a week for 75 minutes and then you are asked to practice the strategies for 10 minutes a day outside of class.
