The Release Date of Ultimate Beastmaster Season 4's Premiere Is Now Confirmed. The third season of Ultimate Beastmaster aired on August 31st, 2018. Since then, fans (including me) have been looking for the show's renewal. The show has not yet been renewed by Netflix.

Unfortunately, there's still a huge difference in the number of men and women in the Ultimate Beastmaster. Only 22 women faced the beast. That's 20.4% percent of the competitors.

The obstacle course for the competition is known as The Beast. Competitors with the highest scores after each level move on while those with the lowest scores are eliminated. The obstacles are suspended over a body of red-tinted water referred to as Beast Blood (except for Level 3 which has blue-tinted water and is referred to as the Fuel of the Pyramid) and housed in a giant steel frame that takes the form of a large animal. A competitor is considered to have failed a Level if all four limbs are submerged into the Beast Blood/Fuel of the Pyramid. Failure ends the attempt at the current Level but confers no penalties.
Level 2. In Level 2 the top six competitors compete, with the top four scorers moving on. Drop Zone - Competitors must jump from one trampoline to the landing pad to continue to the next obstacle. Pivot Point - Competitors must jump on a platform that is floating in the water.
In Level 3, also known as the Energy Pyramid, the top 4 scorers compete, with the top two advancing to the semifinal level.

Contestants are strategic, dedicated to their craft, and single-minded in their quest for success, even to the point of putting themselves in potentially injurious situations to win. For them, the rewards outweigh the risks, and defeat just makes them more determined for future contests. Men and women compete on an even playing field.
Prominent themes of perseverance and determination. Contestants are graceful in both victory and defeat, but they often acknowledge feeling like they've disappointed themselves and their team when they lose. Some of the obstacles force the players to choose between greater risks with the possibility of greater return and taking a safer path with fewer points up for grabs. With teams from all over the world and participants of different backgrounds, the series illustrates the unifying nature of common struggles and goals.
There's no violence, but there are lots of painful mishaps on the obstacle course resulting in bruises and scrapes.
When they're victorious, it's rewarding to see their pride. When they fail, the disappointment can be agonizing. On the whole, Ultimate Beastmaster is a family-friendly pick that reminds viewers of the value of perseverance and determination.
The Beastmaster course is a gorgeous superstructure (trailer below) that’s metaphorically designed like the interior of an animal, with obstacles called things like Spinal Descent and Digestive Tract (icky, but interesting).
The biggest difference between the shows. Ninja Warrior has a straightforward progressive elimination of a large pool of competitors drawn from regional qualifiers (think American Idol). Ultimate Beastmaster has six countries offering up two contestants for each episode, and the winner of each hour competes in the finale.
Netflix rolled out its first reality show last weekend with Ultimate Beastmaster, a hardcore obstacle course competition series clearly inspired by NBC’s summer hit American Ninja Warrior (which in turn is a spin-off of Japan’s Sasuke ). In a way, Beastmaster is like a metaphor for how Netflix has evolved television;
Ninja Warrior changes its course between each city and in the finale. Ultimate Beastmaster created a stunning course which stays basically the same throughout the season (at one point a dangling chain is switched to a thick rope, and we’re breathlessly told this is a big deal as the rope is harder to grip).
That said, Beastmaster does make the Ninja course look cheaper and more static — a course that’s been improved by a few degrees each year when NBC should have been pushing the genre further and taking more chances to leave no room for a rival like Beastmaster to impress. The biggest difference between the shows.
It’s like a real-life video game (as the hosts repeatedly point out). You can’t praise Beastmaster ’s course without also honoring Ninja Warrior, however, as it’s very much designed to build upon what NBC has been doing for years.
Beastmaster ‘s Terry Crews and Charissa Thompson scream “USA! USA!” like they’re in the stands watching the competition rather than doing the commentary (there are no spectator stands on Beastmaster, so maybe producers ordered them to pull double duty).
It was only 25k because he didn’t complete level 4 in the final, and you had to do that to be “Ultimate Beastmaster” and win the 50k.
Theres even a third party company that is there recording everything the entire time we’re competing to make sure it’s fair and legal. They recorded from the first meeting until the last level to keep accountability.
Problem is that Ultima te Beastmaster overwhelming favours rock climbers, and the pool of female contestants is drawn from field of cardio intensive backgrounds. Which makes watching the show predictable when you know that the tall rock climber will probably excel while the Indian boxer will most likely fail. The problem lies with the course more than the athletes.
