While most think of Pinehurst as an iconic golf destination, The Village of Pinehurst actually preceded the first golf course in Pinehurst.
It pitches and rolls over 420 acres of topsy-turvy terrain and tips out at nearly 7,100 yards – welcome to championship-caliber golf at Pinehurst! The 14th hole is a great risk/reward par-4 on No. 8. Following a morning tee time on No. 8, head to The Deuce for lunch.
The Pinehurst Greenway Trail system features more than 4 miles of walking and bicycle trails and winds throughout The Village. Ask for an Arboretum or Greenway Trail map at Resort Services.

The greens have many undulations making putting very challenging. The course was in good condition but here is my issue. When you come to Pinehurst, and pay $280 for a round on number 4, you expect excellent and pleasant service.

Walkability at Pinehurst Resort 1 through No. 5 are easier than the No. 6 and No. 7 courses, which were built on more rugged terrain through residential developments, but there are no horrible walks between holes.
