The growth in Marion Oaks is huge. A lot of really great people are living there and moving there. Its also a great place for rental investment. As growth continues more retail and restaurants will open to supply the demand.
Marion Oaks and The Shores... Probably not the most popular or attractive areas in Marion County, for many reasons.
The Marion Oaks Community is situated on pretty pastured lands with rolling hills and ancient oak trees. There are many parks and playgrounds throughout the community and the Cross Florida Greenway borders the northern edge allowing access to hundreds of miles of hiking, biking and horseback riding trails.
Thirty-five miles to the north, in Gainesville, Florida is the University of Florida, which is ranked 47th out of 199 US colleges.
