You cannot beat the access to the beach and the views. I admit the grass areas are full of burrs and the WiFi is nonexistent. It was easy for us to overlook those things and marvel in the beauty of the beachfront sites. Great monthly rate which includes electric. Weve stayed at all of the Galveston RV Parks. This was our favorite.
Tammy, the office gal, was super pleasant and helpful! The manager came out to explain that new WiFi routers were being installed the next day and gave us the PW. I uploaded a picture of the tech on the ladder, just to prove it.
The location is right on the beach, which is nice, but the showers need painting and a good scrubbing. But the big issue here is the Wi-Fi or lack of it. They advertised they have Wi-Fi and when we checked in at the office they told us they had Wi-Fi. They even gave us a password to use. But there is no Wi-Fi signal.
We loved this park but were only able to stay one night and unfortunately that night was cold and windy. We had a back-in site that overlooked the beach and were able to take a beach walk before the elements chased us back inside our rig. There was nice distance between sites. The park is easy to get too off of the main road.
