Many of Barbri’s competitors advertise similar results for less money and less time. If you have other commitments to juggle and are looking for a flexible review course that will teach you only what you need to know in a relatively short amount of time, this is probably not the best choice.
Depending on the specific BARBRI Bar Review option you select when enrolling, hard copy materials are typically available for shipping request in March for the following summer BARBRI Bar Review course and September for the following winter bar review course. Re: Is BARBRI enough to pass the bar? Yes, absolutely. In fact, Barbri is set up to be MORE than enough (i.e. more than you should reasonably be able to do - they even TELL you that). They say that if you are doing about 75% of what they assign, you're doing enough.

Lastly, a common reason for failing the bar exam is not having—or failing to follow—a study plan. A good study schedule is key. There is a lot of material tested on the bar exam, so being able to devote enough time to learning each subject and practicing test questions is critical.
The BARBRI outlines are very efficient and great at breaking down complicated topics. I also used the practice essays and multiple-choice questions when studying for my exams. I finished the year in the top 13% of the class, making dean's list.
Barbri provides much better essay materials. The book of essays and examples is great. Themis graded more essays, but I didn't feel like I had as many outlines to review and learn. If you don't feel like you are a good technical writer, Barbri's materials are decent.

This is a really cool and beneficial feature. Barbri’s lesson plan and coursework. Barbri’s lessons are also pretty darn good. They are not the best we have seen – we actually rate Kaplan’s lessons out a little higher – but they are solid and do get the job done.
