If you are enrolled in an AP course where you have the choice to receive dual enrollment credit from a college or university without completing the AP exam, Stevens Institute of Technology will need additional documentation regarding the relationship between your AP course and the dual enrollment credit.
Stevens recognizes most AP courses with a score of 4 or 5 on the corresponding exam. A complete list of course equivalents is located on our website. An incoming freshman can only utilize a total of 30 credits from AP, IB and/or college course transfers.
Stevens has no minimum GPA or test score requirement. Successful applicants in recent incoming classes had an average GPA of 3.8 (out of 4.0) and SAT scores in the range of 1330 to 1480. GPAs and test scores are only two indicators of your potential success at Stevens.
