Courses students are currently taking or have registered for in a future semester are included in the degree audit. These courses are applied in the block where they meet a specific requirement. They are also grouped at the bottom of the degree audit in the in-progress block.
Degree Works recognizes that a course may fulfill more than one requirement within a degree program. Always bring this to the attention of your advisor to confirm your audit. Please note that while a course may meet more than one degree requirement, it will only be reflected one time in your earned/total credit hours.
Degree Works allows you to view a broad snapshot of your progress in meeting FCRH's degree requirements (major completion, credit and course completion, Core Curriculum completion, and GPA). On your Degree Works homepage, look for "Degree in Bachelor of Arts [/Science]- FC," which is right under the "Student View" box.
Does adding a course in my Degree Works plan mean I am automatically registered for that course? No. Degree Works is a planning tool. You must register for classes through the registration system on Banner. You can access Banner through your MyUSU page.

A plan may be deleted by selecting the Delete button. Up to five plans can be saved using the Plans tab. Using the Save As button will make a copy of the active plan.

Between the navigation bar at the top of the audit and the Degree Block, there is a progress bar to indicate "Estimated Progress Toward Degree." This bar indicates the percentage of requirements that are marked complete on the audit, which is determind by calculating the percentage of boxes that are "checked" as complete. It is a tool for students to estimate overall progress.
The first block found at the top of every audit is the Degree Block. This will list the requirements for your degree. The degree block lists overall graduation requirements, such as total credit hours required, overall GPA, academic standing, and more. For undergraduates who have not yet declared a major, the Degree Block will default to a BD – Bachelor Degree.
The GPA Calculator allows students to input a desired GPA to calculate what GPA is needed in the remaining degree program to achieve a desired GPA. Similarly, students can input a desired or estimated GPA for current coursework to calculate the semester GPA.
