A forage harvester – also known as a silage harvester, forager or chopper – is a farm implement that harvests forage plants to make silage. Silage is grass, corn or hay, which has been chopped into small pieces, and compacted together in a storage silo, silage bunker, or in silage bags.
Corn chaff is corn and beans that is slowly simmered together with onions, tomatoes, red oil, various spices and meat depending on preference. Smoked fish or meat adds an additional flavor to this dish. So if you have any on hand use it by all means.
The chaff is made by using a Krone BiG X 1100 (By chopping corn.) You can then unload it to a silage unloading spot, thus making it Silage (fermented grass or chaff)
