The Calendar is a great way to view everything you have to do for all your courses in one place. You can view calendar events by day, week, month, or agenda list. The calendar also includes access to the Scheduler, which is an optional scheduling tool in Canvas.
To view the iCal link for exporting your Canvas calendar to other calendar apps, click the Calendar Feed link [4]. Each calendar view shows any assignments, events, or to-do items that have been added to the calendar. Events can be added at any time in the navigation bar by clicking the Add button.
To hide a calendar, click the box next to the name of the calendar. Calendars that are not active within the calendar view display as faded text. Note: Canvas will assign an arbitrary color for each calendar unless a custom color is chosen.

A course site isn't visible to students until the instructor manually publishes the Canvas site. If the semester/term has already started and you are definitely registered for the course, contact your instructor and ask them to publish the course. You may have previously set your Courses List to show other courses.

View Calendar by Month. In month view, click the arrow buttons [1] to move from month to month. To view events for the current date, click the Today button [2]. To view a specific date, click the month link [3] and type a date in the date field [4] or select a date from the calendar [5].
Your calendar view may show entire assignment and event titles as part of the calendar entry. This calendar view is only available in the Month view and can only be enabled by your institution. The wrapped assignment and event title view allows you to view the entire calendar item without having to hover over the title.

Each course you are enrolled in has a color that it will appear in on your calendar. The " Calendars " section in the sidebar on the right side of the screen shows what color each course will appear in.
Canvas allows you to hide and un-hide courses on your calendar. Follow these steps to hide or un-hide a course on your calendar:
Canvas calendar events are not automatically created. Teaching teams must create and manage these events using the instructions below. Students rely on the Canvas calendar to know when and where their classes meet, so please ensure it is always accurate.
In your Canvas course, click on Settings in the Course Navigation Menu.
