Varrock is the next stop in our Agility training. We’ll be using this course from levels 30 to 40, or 32 to 40 if you chose to do the recommend quests mentioned in the beginning. This course is fairly long, but simple. If you have over 20 Hitpoints, you won’t need to bring any food items along with you.
As you level your skill, you will have increased run energy as a permanent boost. There are a few alternate ways to train the skill, but the majority of your agility training in OSRS will take place on various agility courses.
Without the Kandarin Hard Diary, we’ll move onto the Pollnivneach course. At this point, you should get the gist of the skill. There’s nothing special to note about this course, other than continuing to collect your Marks of Grace.
The Rellekka Rooftop course will provide you with roughly ~51k xp/hr. Continue to collect your Marks of Grace as you train. Again, this is a very basic course that doesn’t need much explained. Experience rates here are still slightly lower than Seers’ with the Kandarin Hard Diary.
Agility used to be a pretty slow to train skill, especially at a lower level but with the arrival of the rooftop courses, this has changed a lot. This OSRS Agility Guide will be mainly focussed on using rooftop courses to reach 99 as this is the fastest way. However, we will cover the alternatives as well.
You do not lose the graceful set effects while using an agility cape instead of a graceful cape. Every day you can restore your run to 100% while wearing the cape.
The wilderness course is located at level 53 wilderness. You can easily get here by using the lever in Ardougne or Edgeville. Be sure to bring a knife so you can slash the webs that block the way. Then simply walk southwest towards the wilderness course as pictured.
The Pollnivneach rooftop course is located in the city of Pollnivneach in the desert. You can get here by using the Ali Morrissane’s carpet, paying her 200gp to take you. Or you can set your player-owned-house location to Pollnivneach.
Players who have access to the Priffdinas area can use the priffdinas agility course from levels 75 all the way to 99. Priffdinas is a great alternative to the rooftop courses or even the hallowed sepulchre as you get very nice experience rates of up to 66K exp per hour.
Alternatively you can set up your player-owned-house to Relekka for easy travel. The third option is to teleport to Camelot and walk north from Seers’ Village.
Use the many agility quests to your advantage and remember, summer pies are the best food source for agility. Make sure to get your graceful outfit as quickly as possible as the full graceful set will give you a huge advantage while training agility and make it a lot less of a headache.
Once you reach level 90 , it is better to stick to the previously mentioned Ardougne Agility Course, because it is the fastest way to 99 if we are going to take the difficulty into consideration.
The Agility Cape is obtained by reaching level 99 Agility, and it acts just like the Graceful cape. Wearing it will also trigger the Graceful outfit effect, just like the Graceful cape.
The Al Kharid Course is the second Rooftop Course in our guide, so pay attention to the Marks of Grace. The course location is inside the Al Kharid town, and the starting point is at the north of the Tanner. Bringing Food and Stamina/Energy potions is recommended.
You will stop failing the first Tightrope if you have reached level 85 Agility, and The second Leap Gap will not be failable at level 89 Agility. That means the whole course will be safe starting from level 89 Agility.
OSRS has a mixture of easy and hard to train skills, but saying hard to train doesn’t always mean it will be difficult in terms of its mechanism, it usually means it will take a long time to reach a high level.
The Wilderness Agility Course requires level 52 Agility to access. However, this level is only needed to access the course through the gates; the minimum level requirement of the obstacles is level 49.
However, the required Agility level of 49 is still required to complete the course.
The Agility course consists of five obstacles that players can pass in return for Agility experience. If all obstacles are passed in the correct order, some bonus experience is rewarded at the end of the lap. Some of the obstacles can be failed by the player, resulting in damage.
