To pin a course, hover over the course image until you see the Options menu, indicated by three dots. Choose the Pin option to add the course to your Pinned courses. We recommend you pin all your frequently accessed courses.
Courses that are not yet open but have been activated will show in your My Courses widget grayed out. Courses that have closed will show up grayed out and with a closed tag.
To view only pinned courses, click the Pinned tab at the top of the widget.
On the All Courses page, you will be able to see all of your courses. You can change the order of your courses by using the Sort option in the top right, and choosing the option that you want.

VLACS offers more than 200 courses including basic middle school and high school courses. There are many subjects available that may not be offered in your school.
Students may opt to work at an accelerated, traditional or extended pace; however, regular work submission and communication is required in all VLACS courses in accordance with the student’s pace chart.
Start times are flexible for all learning journeys except for Teams. During the registration process, students will be asked to select a proposed start time that best meets their educational goals.
We offer regular online open house webinars where VLACS staff members provide parents and students with an overview of our programs and answer questions about online learning.
The Virtual Learning Academy provides services in its elementary, middle and high school programs to any student who is under the age of 21 and has not earned a high school diploma. New Hampshire residents attend the school free of charge while students who reside outside of the state pay tuition.
During 2018-2019, the Virtual Learning Academy served approximately 13,000 students and close to 30,000 half-segment enrollments, making it one of the largest statewide virtual schools in the country.
