Graduate Admissions: 724.738.2051. If you have not yet applied, simply select the Summer term option on the appropriate application found on the Apply website. Once you have completed the admissions process, you will be provided with the necessary details to register for classes.
Passing grades are considered a grade of "C" or better. All courses must be passed to graduate. If a student earns a grade of "D" in a course, the student can repeat the course once with approval from the program coordinator. A course may only be repeated one time.
Twelve creditsTwelve credits are considered by the University to be a full-time course load.
Students must notify their professor via SRU email of their intention to withdraw. The professor, in turn, must then email the Academic Records & Registration Office at [email protected], notifying of the withdrawal, and identifying the student's: name, SRU ID#, and last day of participation in the class.

Students will be considered for AP college credit based upon the score earned from the AP exam and the academic major chosen at SRU. Students should be aware that some AP experiences may be accepted to the University, but not accepted for a particular major.

Students wishing to add an Academic Minor to their record, must submit, with department chairperson's approval, the Minor Declaration Form (https:// www.sru.edu/documents/academics/academic-services/academic- records/Minor_Form_Fillable. pdf) to the Office of Academic Records and Registration.

You may be able to take the assessment on campus if needed. For details contact [email protected]. You will have two hours to complete the assessment. Most students finish in 75 minutes. The assessment is adaptive, so you cannot go back and change your answers.
Students with STEM majors - Biology, Chemistry, Engineering, Environmental Geoscience, Mathematics, or Physics - are required to take the SRU math assessment to place into their first SRU math course. Students from other majors are not required to take the assessment.
Students required to take ACSD 110 will need 123 credits to graduate. Intermediate Algebra does not fulfill the Liberal Studies math requirement and should only be taken by students who wish to take MATH 125 or another course that MATH 120 is a prerequisite.
You will only receive c redit if your AP Calculus score was 4-5 on the AB exam, 4-5 on the BC exam, or 3-5 on the AB subsection of the BC exam. ACSD 110: Beginning Algebra is required for students with weak mathematical background. Students required to take ACSD 110 will need 123 credits to graduate.
The m odules can also be used to help you prepare for your upcoming math course. You will have access to them for up to one year. You may take the assessment up to 3 times . There is a mandatory 48-hour wait between attempts . Also, you must spend 3 hours working in the learning modules between attempts.
MATH 113: MATH as a Liberal Art. Intermediate Algebra does not fulfill the Liberal Studies math requirement and should only be taken by students who wish to take MATH 125 or another course that MATH 120 is a prerequisite. Exploratory majors interested in the sciences should take MATH 125 or MATH 225 if qualified.
You will not receive your schedule until you have completed the assessment. Current students or transfer students must complet e the assessment before registering for classes. If you improve your score and place into a higher-level math class than originally scheduled, contact your department chairperson or advisor .
