To update your coursework: Ensure your application's status is Verified on the Check Status tab. Navigate to the Academic History section. Click Transcript Entry. Click Edit under the school you are updating. Click the blue pencil next to the term you are updating (if you need to add a new term, click Add Term ).

That doesn't mean, however, they won't find out later.

CASPA doesn't use "points;" has its own numerical value for letter grades, on a 0.0 - 4.0 scale. A chart of this is available in their GPA FAQs. Using this scale, an A+ is the equivalent of an A on CASPA because the highest your grade can be worth numerically is a 4.0, which is what CASPA assigns for an A.Dec 20, 2010
CASPA clearly defines all policies about how they calculate an applicants GPA on their website. Since some applicants attend colleges that may follow different grading systems, CASPA aims to neutralize the discrepancies. If you are working/living in (insert foreign location here) but your transcript says (insert stateside college here) the adcoms will know you took the course online so you can't get away with just not clicking the box for online classes.
CASPA won't know if courses are/aren't taken online if it doesn't say so on the transcript. However, you will know that you are being dishonest with the application process. That may (or may not) be unsettling to you.
yeah..i've taken a couple of online courses (currently taking 1 now actually)..and it won't say on my transcript that it's online. just have to be honest about it. i see nothing wrong with online courses, especially if they are non-science.
I agree I do not think it should be an issue if the course is accredited but many schools have restrictions on online courses. thank you all so much for your responses. I am not trying to "Lie" to anyone FYI, just not lose a year of eligibility because I am overseas learning a new language, which only makes me more competitive.
It really comes down to how the PA programs feel; I know from my time in admissions PA programs wish transcripts listed which courses were online or not, as it does matter to a lot of admissions committees, especially if those courses required lab work.

CASPA is the Central Application Service for Physician Assistants . Think of CASPA as a clearing house for applications to 93% of PA schools (145 out of 156 accredited PA programs).

If you want to go to PA school, you will more than likely need to navigate the application process with the Central Application Service for Physician Assistants (CASPA). CASPA is an online application service of the Physician Assistant Education Association (PAEA) and allows for students to apply to multiple programs using one application.
A major stumbling block to the CASPA application is understanding the program-specific deadlines. The first step to understanding the requirements is to grasp the different application statuses and turnaround times, as reviewed above.
A CASPA application can only be submitted once all sections are complete. You can submit your application before CASPA receives your transcripts or references (though you will have to add contact information for your references before submission). You will be unable to edit most of the application after submission.
All of this is explained in the CASPA FAQ that they have online and I highly recommend reading through the entire thing, it is definitely worth your time. It can still be a little bit confusing until you're actually applying on the CASPA website though.

The second point I want to make about CASPA GPA is after you have been verified, they WILL NOT recalculate your GPA again for the application cycle. Let me try to explain this. Let's say that you're currently taking classes, and your semester is about to end.
Another question that I'm getting is about GRE scores and what carries over. Remember that hypothetically anything that you enter, will carry over as long as it's not a letter of recommendation or your personal statement. Letters of recommendation have to be submitted every single cycle and your personal statements should be entered every cycle.

CASPA opens every April and runs until March of the following year. The 2019-2020 cycle opened on April 25, 2019 and will close on April 15, 2020. The cost is $179 for the first program you apply to and $55 for each additional program.
