Select Create course. Allow up to 3 hours for your Pearson course to be created. You will receive an email from Pearson when the course is ready. Go to your Ultra course. Click on Books & Course Tools from the left menu. Click on Pearson to expand the menu. Select the specific Pearson course tool you'd like to use.

If you recently joined a course, but you don't see it on your My Courses page, this may be because the enrollment hasn't finished processing. Alternatively, try refreshing your Pearson Account and if that doesn't work, contact Pearson Customer Support and ask to have your account synched.

Creating a Mastering course provides access to all online resources for the textbook you choose, including all assignable content from the book's Item Library and any additional resources such as presentations, images, guides, eText, and Study Area. You can also assign Adaptive Follow-Ups and Dynamic Study Modules if they are available with the textbook. All Mastering courses have access to Learning Catalytics.
Time Zone is important because it affects the time when assignments are available to students, when assignments are due, and when student responses to individual items are timestamped. For Course End Date (Last Day of Term) you are limited to a date that is 2 years (or less) in the future.
If you select Yes, be sure to customize the message to students to let them know which ID and the exact ID format they should enter. If you plan to export Mastering grades for subsequent import into a learning management system (LMS), such as Canvas, and your students are not entering Mastering through the LMS, instruct students to enter IDs in the format that the LMS gradebook uses. These IDs will allow you to ensure that the correct Mastering grades are associated with each student.
If you select a new edition, you see (if available) highlights in the new edition of the Mastering course. Those same highlights appear on the Course Home page after you create the course.
All Mastering courses have access to Learning Catalytics. You must have a Pearson Educator account to create a Mastering course. Select My Courses , Create Course, Create a New Course, and then select Continue. For Basic Information, provide the following values, and then select Continue.
When you select the Textbook, confirm that you see the correct cover image to ensure that you are selecting the right title and edition. After you create the course, you cannot edit the book selection without the help of Pearson Support. If you select a new edition, you see (if available) highlights in the new edition of the Mastering course.
Select whether other instructors can copy this course. Even if you select Available for copying, instructors can't copy the course unless you give them the course ID.

A section instructor can automatically see answers to questions in the Item Library, without being granted any privileges in the course. Section instructors who register with a student access code have some privileges withheld.
The prospective section instructor must also let you know the username for his or her Pearson Education account.
You can grant privileges to any section instructor to allow them to access additional activities.
Mastering students: You can join up to five courses in a single discipline for as long as you have an active Mastering subscription. Modified Mastering students: There’s no limit to the number of courses you can take, as long as you have an active Mastering subscription for the textbook/edition in each course.
If one access runs out, your other accesses are unaffected. Virtual Labs with Mastering/Modified Mastering: You may receive two or more access codes for a single course. One is for Mastering, the other (s) are for Virtual Labs.
