Finkbine Golf Course is owned by the University of Iowa’s Athletic Department and managed by Troon Golf.
The Nagle Family Clubhouse is located to the south and west of the previous clubhouse along Melrose Avenue. The two-level facility features a larger pro shop, a restaurant and bar, an outdoor patio, locker rooms, underground cart storage, and the Nagle Room—a conference room and private dining space.

In modern golf, we found it as a very organized and smartly planned game. Golf gains its attractive beauty through the laps to history. However, the history of golf is not that much clear from its origin. But Scotland can claim the inventor of modern golf with the most substantial evidence.
Though the twisty, tree-lined layout near Tampa can be quickly struck, the name comes from the copper pennies the crew found while building the Larry Packard design in the early ’70s (no one is certain why they were there).
There are three holes on the Copperhead Course at Innisbrook Resort that are as difficult as any in golf. Snake Pits are par-4 16ths (Moccasin), par-3 17ths (Rattler) and par-4 18ths (Copperhead) that are designed to be played by golfers who are eager to play them.
There are three holes on the Copperhead Course called the Snake Pit, including holes 16, 17 and 18. Snake Pit has a statue of a big freaking snake heading into it, and it’s kind of frightening.
A recognizable statue of Vessey guards the entrance to the last three holes. Gerald Goodman, then director of Copperhead’s tournament, referred to the closing holes as the “snake pit” in 2007. Even the best players on the PGA Tour were challenged by the par-4, par-3, and par-4 finish.
The cost of Copperhead is $85, Island $75, North & South $65 from Monday to Thursday. Copperhead & Island course is $115, North & South course is $75 from Friday to Sunday.
Innisbrook Spa and Resort is owned by Sheila Johnson, who has been in business for 11 years. Since then, the Copperhead Course on the PGA Tour has become more prominent in the “Florida Swing” during the spring season.
During the Valspar Championship, the Copperhead Course, designed by Larry Packard, features five tee boxes for golfers to choose from and runs nearly 7,300 yards.
The course takes its name from the many copper pennies undercovered during the building of the course, not the snake.
