Fallthrough courses are classes that have been taken but do not meet any requirement toward your degree. These classes may still be calculated in your GPA. Yes, selecting P/F grading will impact your financial aid and satisfactory academic progress (SAP). Typically, the pass/fall courses do not affect a student's grade point average (GPA) and are not factored into the qualitative component of the SAP calculation.
A. A student who has received a grade of "I," "F," or "U" in a course has a deficiency in the course. A student whose final grade is "F" or "U" has failed the course. The student must repeat and pass the course before credit will be allowed.
