There are more than 70 strategically placed bunkers lurking throughout the golf course as well as 11 water hazards. Risk-reward opportunities are abundant though it is not a terribly punishing course so beginners shouldn't be too intimidated.
Course has a strong design with numerous ponds and wetlands in play. Though the 1st hole was the best on the course, a downhill, hard dogleg right. Course was overall in very good condition.
The course rating is 73.4 and it has a slope rating of 134 on Bent grass. Designed by Richard Jacobson, ASGCA, the Championship 18 golf course opened in 2001. KemperSports Management, Inc. manages this facility, with Holly Williams as the General Manager.
