Complete at least two (2) i-courses at the 3000 or 4000 level at GGC with a grade of “C” or better. NOTE: Students who took a course in 2012-13 through 2015-16 that is subsequently identified as an i-course may submit a request for the course to fulfill this requirement.
These programs can last between ten days and six weeks. Students find the programs a great way to get to know their professors and other GGC students while earning GGC credits and grades. Financial aid and scholarships are available.
GGC may limit accumulation of college-level credit to 20 hours. Required Student Success classes can restrict the range of collegiate level courses students may take. Students who are required to enroll in Student Success courses are not permitted to enroll in credit courses that require the content or the skills of the prerequisite courses.

The minimum passing grade for most courses is the “D” grade. ENGL 1111, ENGL 1112, and MATH 1111 (or equivalent courses) must be passed with a minimum grade of “C.” Courses in Area F of the Common Core as well as all courses in the student's major must be passed with a minimum grade of “C.”

Dean's List, an award that recognizes GGC student-athletes who earn a GPA of 3.6 or higher for a particular semester.
To apply for readmission, complete an electronic Application for Admission (first-time users must create an account). The readmission application must be submitted along with the non-refundable processing fee and any required supporting credentials fees by the deadline for the term of the desired re-enrollment.

Main Academic Excellence that is in line with Georgia Gwinnett College admission standards. Score at least a 1010 on the SAT or 0 on the ACT. Maintain a GPA of at least a 2.89.
The president's list is an award for undergraduates who achieve a 4.0 GPA. Unlike the dean's list, part-time students are eligible for the president's list. The award is issued each semester.

A cumulative GPA of 3.75 to 3.99 places eligible students on the Dean's List, and any eligible student whose cumulative GPA is 4.0 is placed on the President's List.
While GGC ranked at #58 among best public and private regional colleges in the 12-state southern region, it ranked #1 in Georgia among University System of Georgia-participating public schools.
Georgia Gwinnett College Admissions Office. GED applicants are strongly suggested (but not required) to take either the College Board Scholastic Assessment Test (SAT) or the American College Test (ACT), the results of which will be made part of the applicant's portfolio.
